Three Days in Colorado
Colorado is such a vast state with so many different environments. With so much space and so much to do, it can be hard to pack an entire Colorado adventure into only a few days. With that in mind, if you have only three days to spend in Colorado, if you plan carefully and move quickly, you can accomplish a lot.
Here are a few things you must do while you’re in Colorado.
Visit Garden of the Gods
Up near Colorado Springs at the base of Pikes Peak, you’ll find Garden of the Gods, a natural geological formation of rocks. This is truly a place that you need to see for yourself and travelers often spend a few hours climbing and hiking amongst the giant rocks.
Feel the Magic in the Air
Are you a fan of magic? Well, if you are and find yourself in Denver, you shouldn’t miss your opportunity to visit Cosmo’s Magic Theater! The theater is relatively small, and you’ll be able to see live performances of comedy. Music, and, of course, magic from the long-time magician pro, owner Cosmo Solano.
See Ancient Ruins
Want to get up close to ancient ruins of past Colorado natives? If you head down to Mesa Verde National Park, you’ll be able to hike over to the Balcony House. This centuries-old cliff dwelling remains in good shape, and the views are incredible.
Feeling Thirsty?
Colorado is home to many different craft breweries along with major distillers and brewers close to Denver. From the Coors factory to Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey Tour, if you’ve got some time to kill and want to learn more about how your favorite drinks are made, check out either one of these tours!
