Massachusetts is a state so rich in history, you would have to spend weeks there to see all of the historic sites. But what if you only have a few days? You might not get the full Massachusetts experience, but if you plan right, you can make tons of memories in just a short amount of time. These are a few of the things that you should do in Massachusetts if you’re there for only a few days.

Go on a Duck Tour

It might seem silly, especially once you start quacking at locals, but the Boston Duck Tour is an awesome way to explore and tour the entire city. The vehicle is amphibious, meaning that it can drive on land and even through canals and rivers, getting you closer to the best attractions.

Go to a Game

Whether you’re in Boston during spring, summer, winter, or fall, you’ll be able to find a professional sports game happening somewhere. From the Red Sox to the Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics, if you’re a sports fan or like live events, you should check one out while you’re there.

Visit the Aquarium

The New England Aquarium is home to tons of underwater and above the surface animals. From a colossal Caribbean coral reef to a tank that lets you touch rays and sharks, and even penguins, you’ll have a great time here if you want to take a break from the historic sight-seeing.

Walk the Freedom Trail

The Freedom Trail is a pathway that goes throughout Boston and highlights many major landmarks from the Revolutionary War. If you’re even remotely interested in history and historical sites, this is not something you want to miss.
