Three Days in Florida
Florida is a huge state, and with so much to do and see, it can be heard to experience it all in a week or two let alone a few days. Even so, we know that it’s not always possible to up and leave work for weeks at a time to go vacation in Florida, and many people only have a few days’ worth of time to explore and experience Florida.
Let’s take a look at some of the best things that you should do while you’re in Florida to ensure that you’re getting the most out of the state for the short time that you’re there.
Soak Up Some Sun
It doesn’t matter if you’re in Florida for vacation, business, or during the winter months, you have no excuse not to hit the beach for at least an hour or two to just relax, soak up some Florida sun rays and dip your toes in the water. Florida is famous for the hundreds of beaches along the coast, and visiting the state without taking the time to at least stop by one of the free beaches would be a surefire regret.
Go to a Theme Park
There are tons of theme parks throughout the state of Florida. Although Orlando is the primary hub for the best theme parks, you can find other ways to entertain yourself. If you like thrills or just want to see some incredible sites of these huge famous rides, you should take a day to just explore one of the many theme parks in the state.
See Natural Sites
The Florida Everglades National Park is a place like no other in the country. The Everglades go on for miles, and you can see some of the native wildlife like alligators, snakes, fish, and birds there. You really can’t experience a place like the Florida Everglades anywhere else in the country, so if you find yourself in the state and want a break from the city scene, the Everglades isn’t a bad choice.
Make Friends with the Wildlife
Whether it’s dolphins, alligators, or manatees, Florida is home to some exotic animals that you won’t find in many other places in the country. If you have a day to burn and want to get out in the water with the natural wildlife, you should look into one of the many boat tours that put you up close and personal to the local wildlife for an experience you won’t soon forget.
Immerse Yourself in Cuban Culture
Cuba is only a few miles away from the southern tip of Florida, and the culture of the country is ever present in Miami. If you want to immerse yourself in the food, music, and history of the country, you should visit Little Havana in Miami. It’s a great place to spend the afternoon, and you can learn more about this culture.
